Hunter Cup

July 22 and 23rd

The “Hunter Cup”, one of the most popular events of the Tennis season, will take place the weekend of Friday, July 22nd and Saturday, July 23rd.  All players enter individually, and are assigned partner on a merit system.  The Auction will take place on Friday night at 7:30 pm in the Club Lounge.  Players are asked to attend in order that their worth may be accessed.  (Hot and cold munchies will be served on this evening.)

The action takes place on Saturday, July 23rd with round robin play in the morning and the quarter, semi, and finals rounds in the afternoon.  (A light lunch — sandwiches, fruit and beverage– will be served on Saturday.)

Lastly, Don’t be intimidated by the fact that “A” players may compete.  The Draw is well handicapped, and most of the big prizes in past years have been won by “Little People”.

Prize money is awarded to the 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place players, as well as the team owners (Based on a pre-organised percentage of the total pot)

The cost of the event is $40 per person and is charged to your account and will include a BBQ lunch and hot and cold munchies at the auction.

All players must attend the auction Friday evening & be available for a full days play on Saturday
All auction bids are final after auction closes
Unsold teams are automatically sold to the players at the minimum bid ($50) (500) Maximum
Non players are welcome to bid on any teams at the auction
